Dean Warren
Dean has lived in Central Florida for twenty years and has worked for the
Disney World theme park as an artistic curator since 1980. Originally from
Minneapolis, Warren grew up living in Massachusetts, Texas and Louisiana. He
has exhibited extensively in Central Florida at art centers such as Harris
House of Atlantic Center for the Arts, Mount Dora Center for the Arts and at
many universities including University of Central Florida and University of
Tampa. He is listed in Whos Who in America, as well as
Whos Who in the World.
Warren is of Nordic descent and readily acknowledges a Scandinavian influence
in his art. His mixed-media Symbolic Constructions often take
reference to primitive sleds or shelters that utilize his homegrown bamboo.
These works often use feathers, leather and twine, mixed with items collected
by his wife at flea markets and thrift stores. His current works are a series
of wooden staffs that continue to display this Nordic influence. |

I suoi lavori piu attuali
materiali. |
